The infamous stringdusters are an american rock band formed in Indianapolis in 1984. The group's first album was released in 1986 and their first show was held in 1986. The band's mainada is based in Indianapolis and their shows are typically set in the lucas oil complex. The stringdusters' fan base is close-knit and passionate about their music and their passion for playing football. They have since moved their show to week and played their first show at the postshore bowl in Indianapolis in 2022. The band was formed in 1994 by brothers kerry and john, both of whom were originally from Indianapolis.
